JOB SCAMS
Because we all would like to make some extra money there are some jobs that seem to good to be true and the MYSTERY SHOPPER SCAM & THE AUTO WRAP SCAM are a good example of that, most of these scammers are from Jamaica. You receive a fake check and instructions to deposit into your bank account and couple of days later your bank tells you that you owe them $1000’s, because that check is fake/stolen. Best thing to do is take all documents to your local police station or to the Anti-Scam Authorities. If you see a contact phone number or email address on the “Instructions” sheet NEVER contact them.
Plus here are some RED FLAGS about job scams;
1)Getting paid before you work.
2)They send you a text message/email with NO phone number to all them back.
3)They don’t want your resume to see your working experience.
4) If you send your full mailing address they won’t verify it.
